Whatcom County Planning Public Meeting

The Whatcom County Planning Commission will hold public hearings and work sessions on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. regarding:

1. The Buildable Lands Report 2022 Whatcom County Review and Evaluation Program (issued July 7, 2022). This Report contains an introduction to the Buildable Lands Program, policy framework, methods used in developing the Report, countywide findings, and jurisdiction profiles for each urban growth area.
2. The proposed Public Participation Plan for Whatcom County Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulation Amendments. This plan will guide public participation efforts relating to comprehensive plan and development regulation amendments. File #PLN2022-00007.

Meetings

• The Whatcom County Planning Commission generally schedules meetings on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 6:30 p.m. in the Northwest Annex Conference Room, 5280 Northwest Drive, Bellingham, WA 98225.
• The commission does not meet on the 4th Thursday of August, November, and December.
• Special meetings may be scheduled with 24 hours' notice.
• Meeting times and locations may vary.  Confirm Agenda for specific meeting information. Meetings may be cancelled at any time.
• Meeting agendas will note if there is an opportunity for public comment during the meeting.
